The Rawn Method
How Rawn Works
Most dating apps ask you to judge a photo before you know anything else. Rawn inverts that: you get to know the person, not the picture. By the time a face enters the picture, you've already had the conversation that actually tells you whether something is there.

The Masquerade
Before the face, the connection.
You don't know what they look like. They don't know what you look like. Without a photo to perform for, you're left with something rarer: actual conversation.
The window doesn't stay open forever. Long enough to find out if something is there. Not so long that nothing has to be risked.
When it shifts into something more, either of you can ask to unmask. But only if both of you say yes.
Anonymous by design.
Mutual by choice.

Unmask
Nothing is revealed until you both are.
When a Masquerade conversation shifts into something worth continuing, either person can ask to Unmask.
It's a mutual decision: identities are only shared once both people choose to reveal them.
If you're not ready, nothing forces the issue, there's no partial reveal.
Mutual by design.
Never one-sided.

The Rendezvous
When the mask falls. The story begins.
Some connections end where they began. Others ask for more.
When chemistry moves beyond the screen, Rawn provides the transition. No more endless talking without a destination.
Choose a time, a place, and take the final step. From intentional conversation to real presence.
Meeting Intentionally
from digital depth to physical reality.
Frequently Asked
What is Rawn?
Rawn is a dating app built around depth-first connection. You start in the Masquerade, an anonymous chat, building genuine chemistry through conversation before profiles or photos ever enter the picture.
How does the Masquerade work?
When you enter the Masquerade, you are matched with someone based on shared preferences for a time-limited anonymous conversation. Chemistry builds through words, not curated photos.
How long does a Masquerade session last?
Sessions are intentionally time-limited to keep the conversation focused, long enough to know if there's something there, not so long that momentum fades.
How does revealing work?
You remain anonymous until both people choose to Unmask. It is a mutual decision. Both users must accept before identities are shared. You control exactly when and how much is revealed.
Can I decline to Unmask?
Yes. Unmasking only happens when both people choose it. If you're not ready, you can keep talking anonymously or end the conversation, there's no penalty either way.
What happens if we never Unmask?
Nothing, that's a completely normal outcome. Plenty of Masquerade conversations stay exactly what they are: anonymous, low-stakes, and over whenever either person is ready to move on.
What is a Rendezvous?
Once both people have unmasked, either person can propose a Rendezvous: a time and place to meet in the real world. The plan is added to your device's native calendar. Nothing is confirmed unless both people agree.
Where can we meet for a Rendezvous?
Only at a business or public venue you select from within the app. You can't enter a residential address or a set of coordinates, by design.
