Community Guidelines

Zero-Tolerance Policy

Rawn enforces a zero-tolerance policy for conduct that undermines user safety or dignity. This includes harassment, hate speech, exploitation, predatory behavior, or attempts to deceive other users.

Severe violations may result in immediate and permanent account removal without warning.

1. Respect & Conduct

You must treat all users with respect. Prohibited behavior includes, but is not limited to:

• Harassment or Abuse: Bullying, stalking, intimidation, threats, or persistent unwanted contact.
• Hate Speech: Content that promotes or encourages hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender, or gender identity.
• Unsolicited Explicit Content: Sending sexually explicit images, videos, or messages without clear and mutual consent.
• Non-Consensual Sexual Conduct: Engaging in sexual conduct with another user without their consent is a severe violation of these Guidelines and may also be a crime.

Dating involves attraction, but consent and respect are mandatory at all times.

2. Authenticity & Misrepresentation

Rawn is for real people seeking genuine connections, during the Masquerade and after. You may not:

• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, whether anonymous or Unmasked;
• Use photos that are not of yourself once photos are shared;
• Operate bot accounts or automated profiles; or
• Use the platform for scams, commercial solicitation, escorting, sugar dating, investment schemes, or directing users to third-party services.

Catfishing or deceptive behavior will result in permanent removal.

3. Age Requirements

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Rawn.
• Minors are strictly prohibited from using the platform.
• Any photos containing minors (including your own children) must be fully clothed, non-sexual, and clearly incidental to the image.

Any attempt to involve minors in sexualized content or conversations will result in an immediate, permanent ban and will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and other appropriate authorities, as described in our Terms of Service.

4. Safety & Illegal Activity

To protect our community, the following is strictly prohibited:

• Facilitating or promoting illegal activity, including drug sales, trafficking, or exploitation;
• Threats of violence or physical harm; and
• Sharing sensitive personal information publicly, such as home addresses, government IDs, or financial data.

Credible threats or criminal behavior may be escalated to law enforcement when required by law. Colorado residents: see our Online Dating Services Safety Policy for additional disclosures required under Colorado law.

5. One Account Per User

Each individual is permitted one active account. Creating multiple accounts to evade bans, harass others, or manipulate the platform will result in all related accounts being permanently banned.

6. Reporting & Moderation

We provide in-app tools to help keep Rawn safe.

• Report & Block: Users may report profiles, messages, or photos at any time, including during an anonymous Masquerade session.
• False Reports: Please do not submit a report for malicious, biased, or other illegitimate reasons, doing so is itself a violation of these Guidelines.
• Human Review: All reports are reviewed by our moderation team using a combination of automated systems and human oversight.
• Notice to Other Users: If we ban a user for suspected fraudulent behavior, we may notify other users who exchanged messages with that account, consistent with applicable law.
• Enforcement: We reserve the right to remove any content or account that violates these Guidelines or the spirit of our community.

7. Appeals

If you believe your account was restricted or banned in error, you may submit an appeal by contacting safety@purelydating.com. We aim to review appeals within 5 business days. Appeals are reviewed at our discretion, and not all decisions are reversible.

8. Off-Platform Conduct

While these Guidelines govern in-app behavior, Rawn reserves the right to take action against users for documented misconduct that occurs offline, including at a Rendezvous, if it poses a risk to our community.

9. Colorado Users

If you are a Colorado resident, please also review our Online Dating Services Safety Policy, required under the Colorado Online Dating Services Safety Act (C.R.S. § 6-1-731.5).
